The German agricultural machinery powerhouse Claas has launched in the U.S. the Jaguar1200, part of the brand-new Jaguar1000 series and the most powerful forage harvester in its history. Boasting a staggering 1,110HP, the Jaguar1200 now joins the exclusive ranks of harvesters topping the 1,000HP threshold-marking a significant leap in the realm of high-capacity, precision agriculture.

The new Jaguar1000 series was unveiled during a high-profile event in California, giving U.S. farmers and ag professionals a first look at the cutting-edge features and sheer scale of the machines. European markets are next, with the debut set for Agritechnica2025 in Hannover (9-15 November), and series production scheduled for September-October this year.

This flagship lineup includes four High-Power models:

• Jaguar1080 - 850HP

• Jaguar1090 - 925HP

• Jaguar1100 - 1,020HP

• Jaguar1200 - 1,110HP

All models are powered by robust MAN V12 engines (12 cylinders, 24,000cc), combining brute strength with German engineering finesse.

What really sets the Jaguar1200 apart is its exceptional processing capacity-up to 500tonnes per hour, thanks to an optimized feed system. The hydraulic pre-pressing unit features four rollers that compress and homogenize the feed flow before chopping. For maintenance, the roller block can hydraulically swivel 80°, granting easy access to the knife grid.
