President Javier Milei will travel once again to the United States for an official meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House on October 14, Argentina's Foreign Ministry confirmed on Tuesday.

The trip comes just weeks after Milei's visit to New York, where he received strong political and economic backing from the Republican administration. Expectations are now rising over a potential financial support package from the U.S. Treasury Department, as Argentina continues to face severe economic challenges.

In an official statement, the Foreign Ministry stressed that the meeting represents "a new opportunity to continue strengthening the strategic partnership between both countries, based on shared values and the common commitment to liberty, democracy, and the prosperity of our peoples."

The composition of Milei's delegation has not yet been detailed, but it was confirmed that they will stay at Blair House, the official guest residence for heads of state visiting Washington.

The Milei-Trump meeting is seen as a key step to deepen the bilateral alliance, at a time when Argentina is seeking stronger ties with the world's leading power, both in terms of economic cooperation and political coordination.
